There are over 100 acute hospitals in Switzerland.
Not all hospitals offer the same treatments, the same quality or the same costs.
The Swiss Federal Office of Public Health (BAG/OFSP/UFSP/FOPH) and the National Association for Quality Development in Hospitals and Clinics (ANQ) examine the quality of various treatments at each hospital each year.
Features of treatment quality for a given hospital are, for example:
