There are over 100 acute hospitals in Switzerland.
Not all hospitals offer the same treatments, the same quality or the same costs.
The Swiss Federal Office of Public Health (BAG/OFSP/UFSP/FOPH) and the National Association for Quality Development in Hospitals and Clinics (ANQ) examine the quality of various treatments at each hospital each year.
Features of treatment quality for a given hospital are, for example:
Number of cases treated
Wound infection rate
Length of stay in the hospital
CONCORDIA will present you with the outcome of the hospital evaluation (quality of treatment and amount of costs) in relation to your planned treatment in a personal discussion.
We recommend – and thus provide you with an important basis for choosing a suitable hospital.
You have the choice – and decide, fully informed and after considering the criteria that are important to you, in which hospital you would like to be treated.
A hospital evaluation is available for the following treatment indications:
Musculo-skeletal system and connective tissue
Hormone-related metabolic disorders
